Meet the Cast

Zach Abraham (Actor) is a senior at Heidelberg University this fall. He is currently pursuing a degree in both Musical Theatre as well as Accounting. Zach is beyond excited to play Actor in this production. Zach would like to thank his family in Marion, as well as his musical theatre family here in Tiffin. Zach wishes everyone to break a leg with The Woman in Black!

Riley Ameel (Women in Black) is currently a Junior and is so excited to be back on the Gundlach stage for her 10th production here at Heidelberg. Her favorite productions at Gundlach include Wendy and Peter(Wendy), A Year of Frog and Toad(lady bird), or Chicago(Mona/featured dancer). Riley also plays volleyball here at Heidelberg University. She would like to thank all of her family and friends for their love and support. 1 Corinthians 10:31

Jacob Frankart he/him (Kipps/Sound Design) could not be more excited to perform this production of The Woman in Black. A few of the shows he has performed in at Heidelberg include Chicago (Dance Ensemble), Wendy and Peter (Murt the Bat), Les Liaisons Dangereuses (Le Chevalier Danceny), and Spongebob Squarepants: The Musical! (Electric Skate/ Squidward u.s.). This is Jacob’s first show performed in the black box and has had a wonderful time learning to act in the new space. His favorite aspect of working with such a small group has been learning more about his other cast members. He hopes you all enjoy the show and wants to give a special shout-out to his family who has supported him every step of the way.

Meet the Crew

Serria Allen She/They (Assistant Director/Stage Manager), is a junior English and Integrated Media major and is thrilled to be a part of the Woman in Black production team as their first time as both Assistant Director and Stage Manager! Serria has been a part of the theater department since their Freshman year at Heidelberg. She has previously acted in Addams Family (Ensemble), Chicago (Select Dance Ensemble) and Spongebob the Musical (Electric Skate #1/Ensemble/Plankton Understudy); they also participated in the shadow performance of Rocky Horror as ‘The Lips’. Serria was also a part of Cinderella (Assistant Stage Manager), Wendy and Peter (Assistant Stage Manager), Les Liaison Dangereuse (Sound Designer/Operator) and Fiorello (Sound Mixer) and currently, they are also the Assistant Stage Manager for the mainstage show Measure for Measure. Serria has also been the show photographer for many of the Mainstage and Black Box performances. She would like to thank the cast and crew for their hard work and dedication throughout the entire production process!

Bri Clark graduated with a BA and is now pursuing her MBA at Heidelberg. She has participated in theatrical productions pretty much her whole life! Bri has been in multiple shows here at Heidelberg including Pride and Prejudice, She Kills Monsters, Addams Family, Dangerous Liaisons, and many more. She also contributes as the theater department's Scenic Charge and Graphic designer. Bri is excited for her future once she leaves the Heidelberg stage!

Krista Hagans (She/Her) is a Senior at Heidelberg University. She is currently working on her Theater degree with a concentration in acting and a minor in business. Krista was last seen as Tink in Wendy and Peter Pan and she is currently the manager of the front house and box office. She would like to thank her Mom and Dad, roommate, and friends back home in Dayton for their continued support. Enjoy the show!!!

CJ Davis is a sophomore Musical Theatre major with a Psychology minor. This is CJ’s first time light designing and he is beyond excited to share this show with everyone. As an actor, CJ has been on the stage four times at Heidelberg. Three times on the main stage in Dangerous Liaisons (Azolan), We Have Apples (Ensemble), and Fiorello! (Ensemble) as well as once on the Black Box stage as Jeff in Porch. CJ was also Assistant Master Electrician in the spring of 2023 and is now Master Electrician of Gundlach Theatre starting in the fall of 2023.

Amelia Hammond she/her (Hair and Makeup Designer) is so happy to have created the looks for the characters in this amazing production of Woman In Black! She took inspiration from the original movie, the tv show Haunting Of Hill House, and pop culture. Amelia would like to thank Jack Mills for trusting her design choices enough to put them in the show, and all of the cast members for a spectacular experience working with them. Her next appearance in Gundlach Theater will be in the production of Measure For Measure in November!

Sarah Jewell she/her (Props Master) is excited to be a props master in the black box again! She is a Musical Theatre and Vocal performance double-major and has Spanish and Theatre education minors. Sarah has previously done props for Fiorello! and Top Girls. She would like to dedicate this show to her black cat, in honor of the spooky season.

Jack Mills is a senior musical theatre major. He has performed in Heidelberg’s production’s Dance Nation as Luke, Lucas in The Addams Family Musical, Puck in A Midsummer’s Night Dream, Slightly in Wendy and Peter, and Patchy The Pirate in SpongeBob the Musical. He assistant directed a student directed play in the Blackbox theater called My First Time, and recently co-directed Misery. He is very excited to direct this Blackbox production of The Woman In Black. He wants to thank his friends and family for their continuous support. He would also like to thank the cast and crew of The Woman In Black for their hard work, dedication, and being such great people to work with. Hope you enjoy the show!

Wilhelmina Opferman she/her (Costume Designer) is thrilled to be designing in the blackbox. She has previously designed the hair and makeup for Les Liaisons Dangereuses, assistant costume designed The SpongeBob Musical, and is currently the costume shop manager. Onstage, some of her more recent appearances have been in SpongeBob (SpongeBob Squarepants), Fiorello (Ensemble/Cutie), and Top Girls (Waitress/Kit/Shona). Outside of theatre, she is a member of the Euglossian Society, Zeta Theta Psi, Concert Choir, and Marching Band. Wilhelmina would like you to please appreciate Riley’s dress. It took hours.

Autumn Perry She/Her (Set Designer) is a Junior Theatre Production and English Literature double major at Heidelberg University and is incredibly thrilled to be the Set Designer for the Black Box production of Woman in Black, this Fall! Autumn has previously been involved in Heidelberg's productions of Eurydice (Stage Manager), Chicago (Stage Manager), Misery (Sound Designer), Top Girls (Sound Designer), Les Liaisons Dangereuses (Stage Manager), Porch (Light Designer), Spongebob (Asst. Technical Director), and most recently Fiorello (Production Stage Manager). Autumn is extremely grateful for her production roles this semester and looks forward to another wonderful year in the theater. Autumn would also like to thank her loved ones for all the support they offer her!

Lexy Saxon She/Her (Lighting Designer) Lexy is a junior theater production major and writing minor at Heidelberg University. She is very excited about designing this show alongside CJ Davis. Lexy has designed many shows such as We Have Apples, Spooky Dog, Top Girls as well as assistant designing shows such as Chicago and Wendy and Peter. Over the summer, she designed a production of Godspell in Lorain for Lorain Community Music Center. Lexy would like to thank her friends and family for always supporting her, and everyone on the cast and crew for being so fun to work with!
