Meet the Cast

Jack Mills he/him (Francis) is a senior musical theatre major. He has performed in Heidelberg’s production’s Dance Nation as Luke, Lucas in The Addams Family Musical, Puck in A Midsummer’s Night Dream, Slightly in Wendy and Peter, and Patchy The Pirate in SpongeBob the Musical. He co-directed Misery as well as assistant directed Measure For Measure, and is looking forward to directing Woman In Black later this month in the black box! He is very excited to play Francis Henshall in this production of One Man Two Guvnors! He wants to thank his friends and family for their continuous support. He would also like to thank the cast and crew of One Man Two Guvnors for their hard work, dedication, and being such great people to work with. Hope you enjoy the show!

Riley Ameel she/her (Rachel) is currently a Junior and is so excited to be back on the Gundlach stage for her 12th production here at Heidelberg. Her favorite productions at Gundlach include Wendy and Peter (Wendy), A Year of Frog and Toad (lady bird), or Chicago (Mona/featured dancer). Riley also plays volleyball here at Heidelberg University. She would like to thank all of her family and friends for their love and support. 1 Corinthians 10:31

Bri Clark she/her (Stanley) graduated with a BA and is now pursuing her MBA at Heidelberg. She has participated in theatrical productions pretty much her whole life! Bri has been in multiple shows here at Heidelberg including Pride and Prejudice, She Kills Monsters, Addams Family, Dangerous Liaisons, Measure for Measure, and many more. She also contributes as the theater department's Scenic Charge and Graphic designer. Bri is excited for her future once she leaves the Heidelberg stage!

Meg Amburgey she/her (Pauline Clench) is very proud to be on the Gundlach stage. She has previously performed in Little Shop of Horrors (Audrey), Legally Blonde (Brooke Wyndham/Delta Nu), Christmas Carol (Belle), as well as other productions. Also, being dance captain in community theater shows. She would like to thank her family and friends for always supporting her!

Amelia Hammond she/her (Alfie/Old Man) is so pleased to be a part of this production of One Man, Two Guvnors! She is a second year Theatre major with an Acting concentration. Amelia has previously performed in The SpongeBob Musical (Plankton), Les Liaisons Dangereuses (Cecile Volanges), Measure For Measure (Pompey), and Fiorello! (Mrs. Zappatella). She would like to thank everyone who worked on this production and for making this process so smooth and FUN! Also she would like to thank Zaria Keys for working so hard with her on the Commedia Dell’Arte!

Dermot Healy he/him (Harry Dangle) is excited to be a part of this production of One Man Two Guvnors. His other shows include Measure for Measure (Escalus) Fiorello! (Ensamble), SpongeBob (Gary), The Other Place (Man), Wendy and Peter Pan (Tom), and Chicago (Ensemble).

Jerahmy Marshall they/them (Lloyd Boateng) is so excited to be doing their 3rd show in the Gundlach Theatre as a freshman. They are so excited to be doing a comedic farce this season and can’t wait for you to see it! They are so grateful to Jackson and their WONDERFUL ADs for giving them the opportunity to perform in such a fun role! They want to remind us to not forget to not waste the sausage rolls! They hope you enjoy the show and the hard work that the cast and crew has to put into it!

CJ Davis he/him (Alan Dangle) is very excited to be a part of this show. The process as a whole has been a welcome challenge as he explores different aspects of theater, in this case Commedia dell'arte. CJ has also been in several other productions such as Porch, Fiorello!, We Have Apples, and Les Liaisons Dangereuses. Along with this, CJ has held the position of Master Electrician of Gundlach theatre since August of 2023 and during this time has light designed Endgame, Woman in Black and will be assistant light designing Assassins later this year. CJ wants to thank his family and friends for being beyond supportive in his artistic endeavors.

Grace Thomas she/her (Dolly) is SO excited to be a part of this HILARIOUS show! This is her third show with the Heidelberg theatre department and she couldn’t be more grateful for all of the opportunities she’s been granted here! She wants to give a huge thank you to her wonderful directors, cast mates, and everyone who was a part of putting together this incredible production! She hopes you enjoy the show!

Becca Young she/her (Boy Scout Leader/ Gareth) is a freshman majoring in Theatre with a Concentration in Acting and double minoring in Business and Psychology. She is ecstatic to be a part of her second main stage production, previously making her Gundlach debut in Fiorello! (Newsie/ Ensemble), Friar Peter in Measure For Measure, and has previously performed in Chicago! (Roxie Hart). Becca would like to thank her family and friends for their constant support, as well as the entire theatre department for welcoming her with open arms!

Opossum Kreuscher they/he (Taxi Driver/Policeman) They have previously performed in shows at Heidelberg such as Fiorello! (Hack), Measure for Measure (Guard), and Circle Mirror Transformation (Schultz). Opossum would like to thank his sisters for being the best siblings someone could ask for. He's proud of them both.

Austin James he/him (Policeman, Barman) is a senior Computer Science major and is very excited to make his Gundlach debut. This is Austin’s first time acting in years, but is not a stranger to the theater, as he helped with set building and painting in 2021. Austin would like to thank all of his friends for believing that he could audition!

Autumn Perry she/her (Production Stage Manager) is a Junior Theatre Production and English Literature double major with a minor in Business and is thrilled to be the Production Stage Manager for the main stage production of One Man, Two Guvnors this February. Autumn has previously been involved in Heidelberg's productions of Eurydice (Stage Manager), Chicago (Stage Manager), Misery (Sound Designer), Top Girls (Sound Designer), Les Liaisons Dangereuses (Stage Manager), Porch (Light Designer), Spongebob (Assistant Technical Director), Fiorello! (Production Stage Manager), Woman in Black (Set Designer), and most recently Measure for Measure (Production Stage Manager). Autumn is extremely grateful for her production roles this semester and looks forward to another wonderful semester in the theater. Autumn would also like to thank her loved ones for all the support they offer her!

Milana (Millie) Robbins she/her (Assistant Stage Manager) is ecstatic to be returning to theater in her Freshman year! She has participated in the International Academy of Macomb’s productions Alice in Wonderland (Lead Set Designer/Backstage Crew), Romeo and Juliet (Lead Set Designer/Backstage Crew), Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (Lead Set Designer/Lead Stage Manager). She also partook in Gundlach Theatre’s production of Fiorello! (Assistant Stage Manager) and Measure For Measure (Assistant Stage Manager) Millie would like to thank her parents for their unconditional support through each production.

Zaria Keys she/her (AD) was this production’s Assistant Director! She had a blast being able to assist the cast in this wacky performance and can’t wait for it to be displayed on the mainstage! It was so enthralling to be able to learn alongside the actors and help them in the discovery of their characters’ physicality! One Man Two Guvnors has been an inspiring journey that has encouraged Zaria to pursue more directing opportunities as well as refine her craft as an actress. She wants to thank the phenomenal cast for being so open and eager to commit throughout the rehearsal process!

Melaina Brostenianc she/her (AD/Marketing) is beyond grateful for the opportunity to Assistant Direct a Mainstage show alongside the amazing cast and technicians! Melaina is a Freshman Education and Theatre Production major at Heidelberg University. She has been involved in Heidelberg's production of Fiorello! (Assistant Stage Manager) and Endgame (Sound Designer//Marketing). She is excited for her upcoming roles in The Letter G (Assistant Stage Manager/Marketing) and Assassins (AD/Marketing). She has also acted as this school year’s Student Marketing Director. Melaina would like to thank Jackson, Zaria, the cast, and her parents for all the support they have given thus far.

Krista Hagans she/her (Front of House Manager) is a Senior at Heidelberg University. She is currently working on her Theater degree with a concentration in acting and a minor in business. Krista was last seen as Tink in Wendy and Peter Pan and she is currently the manager of the front house and box office. She would like to thank her Mom and Dad, roommate, and friends back home in Dayton for their continued support. Enjoy the show!!! 

Ben Pollizi he/him (Lighting Designer) is a graduate of Heidelberg University where he earned his BA in Theatre with a concentration in Musical Theatre! He also served as the resident master electrician during his time at Heidelberg and is so excited to be back designing on the Gundlach stage. His favorite past design credits at Heidelberg include 4:48 Psychosis, Chicago, Misery, and the 2022 Ten Minute Play Festival, among many others. He also will be starring as Uncle Lou in the upcoming Blackbox production of The Letter G (March 22-24, get your tickets at Gundlachtheatre.org). Lexy Saxon she/they (Assistant Lighting Designer/Master Electrician) Lexy is a junior theater production major at Heidelberg University. She has designed many shows here at Heidelebrg such as Measure For Measure, We Have Apples, and Top Girls. They have also assistant designed multiple times for shows such as Wendy and Peter and Chicago. Over the summer, she designed Godspell for a semi-professional theater, and is returning to the same theater for their production of 9 to 5. Lexy has also served as master electrician a few times, and they are excited to be back in the position. She would like to thank all her friends and family for supporting her. They would also like to shout out Ben for being her mentor and being able to Light under them one last time before she graduates. They are very excited for everyone to see the show, and she hopes everyone enjoys it!

Serria Allen she/they (Sound Designer), is a junior English and Integrated Media major and is excited to be a part of the One Man, Two Guvnor’s production team! Serria has been a part of the theater department since their Freshman year at Heidelberg. She has previously acted in Addams Family (Ensemble), Chicago (Select Dance Ensemble), and Spongebob the Musical (Electric Skate #1/Ensemble/Plankton Understudy); and will be performing in Assassins later in the Spring! Serria was also a part of Cinderella (Assistant Stage Manager), Wendy and Peter (Assistant Stage Manager) Measure for Measure (Assistant Stage Manager), Les Liaison Dangereuse (Sound Designer/Operator), Fiorello! (Sound Mixer) and The Woman in Black (Assistant Director/Stage Manager/Marketing). Serria has also been the show photographer for many of the Mainstage and Black Box performances!

Sydney Mendez they/them (Assistant Music Director/Bassist) is very excited to play bass for this incredibly hilarious show! This is their third show here at Heidelberg, and their first time playing in the pit! They can't wait for you all to watch this talented cast, and they hope you all enjoy the show!

Hannah Lewis she/her (Assistant Set Design) is thrilled to be working on another fantastic show here at Heidelberg. She is excited to have had the opportunity to work with Sue and use new skills she has been developing. Hannah has appeared in Fiorello! and Measure for Measure here at Heidelberg and in various highschool productions at Solon High School. She has also worked as props, dramaturg and stage manager for various productions since coming to Heidelberg and has loved the opportunity to work on both sides. She wants to thank Jackson Helmholtz  and all of the cast and crew for making this such an amazing experience and for constantly making her laugh. She hopes you enjoy the show.

Sam Barker he/him (Props Designer/Assistant Scenic Charge) is an incoming junior majoring in Theater Production with a minor in Art and Communications. Having come from Antioch College in Yellow Springs, Ohio and studying Art and Philosophy, he is excited to now have the opportunity to assist the talented cast and to be able to help in the production of the amazing props and sets on stage. Sam would like to thank his parents, grandparents, and friends back home for all of the support and late night phone calls.

Mackenzie Ludwig she/her (Hair/Wigs/Makeup) is a first-year student majoring in theatre and psychology with a concentration in acting. She was previously in Fiorello, Measure for Measure, and Circle Mirror Transformation at Heidelberg. Along with playing Theresa in Circle Mirror Transformation, she was also the head of hair and makeup for the show. Before coming to Heidelberg she was in Pride and Prejudice (Elizabeth Bennet) and Annie (Lily St. Regis) at Eisenhower High School. Mack is so excited for everyone to see this hilarious show!

Karla Kash she/her (Intimacy Director and Dialect Designer) is thrilled to work with this talented cast and production team. Ms. Kash most recently directed Measure for Measure at Heidelberg and is directing Assassins this spring

 

Professor Kash is in her second year as an Associate Professor and Director of the Theatre at Heidelberg University and her eighteenth year as a full-time instructor in higher education. Professor Kash is grateful to be working with this group of talented and tenacious actors, designers, and production team. Karla feels blessed to be a part of the Berg family and a member of the Tiffin community.

 

Ms. Kash is a professional Director and Choreographer (member of the Society of Directors and Choreographers), Actor (member of the Actors Equity Association), Fight Director who is certified in six weapons (The Society of American Fight Directors) and is trained in Intimacy Direction. Karla recently became certified in Mental Health First Aid.

 

Some of Ms. Kash’s favorite roles are Barbara in August: Osage County at Repertory Theatre of Iowa; Susan in the musical [title of show] and Becca in Rabbit Hole at StageWest; Diana in Next to Normal at Des Moines Onstage; Lady Capulet in Romeo and Juliet at American Theatre for Actors in NYC (and was the production's fight director); and Martha in A Piece of My Heart at the Metropolitan Playhouse, NYC. Karla’s most incredible experience as an actor is playing Josie in A Moon for the Misbegotten opposite her mentor, the late Jonathan McMurtry, at North Coast Repertory Theatre in Solana Beach, CA, under the direction of David Ellenstein.

 

Ms. Kash’s favorite productions as a professional director, choreographer, and/or fight director are Parade, Jerry Springer the Opera, Spring Awakening, and Avenue Q for StageWest; West Side Story, Rock of Ages, and The Wedding Singer for The Des Moines Playhouse; The Glass Menagerie, Taming of the Shrew, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, As You Like It, and Twelfth Night for The Repertory Theatre of Iowa; The World Goes ‘Round for The International Lyric Academy in Italy; and Shipwrecked at The Black Hills Playhouse. A career highlight for Karla was doing the fight direction for the Broadway National Tour of La Cage Aux Folles.

 

Some of Professor Kash’s favorite productions as a producer, director, choreographer, and/or fight director at the University level are Wendy and Peter Pan, SpongeBob, Fiorello, Godspell, A Dolls House, Hair Heathers, Sweeney Todd, A Man of No Importance, bare: a pop opera, The Pavillion, The Music Man, and My Fair Lady.

 

Ms. Kash earned her BFA in Acting with an emphasis in Dance, Directing, and Musical Theatre from Wright State University and her MFA in Acting with a focus on Classical Theatre and Movement Studies from Brandeis University. Professor Kash’s highlight of her educational career is receiving the distinguished Madlyn Levitt Mentor of the Year award at Drake University, where she was tenured.

Lexi Lang she/her (Assistant Dialect Designer) is happy to be back on the mainstage tech team this spring. She has studied several Dialects, including Australian, British RP, Southern, and Cockney. Lexi is excited to have the opportunity to utilize some of these accents in One Man, Two Guvnors. Additionally, she is currently the resident Lead Hair and Makeup Specialist for the School of Music and Theater. Lexi can also often be seen on stage. She has had roles such as Fiorello! (Thea), Chicago (Mary Sunshine), Pride and Prejudice (Mary Bennet), and Spongebob SquarePants: The Musical (The Mayor of Bikini Bottom). Lexi would like to thank her friends and family, the production team/leaders, professor Susan Hlavinka, professor Karla Kash, Dr. Carol Dusdeiker, and Michael Shirtz for believing in her and helping her grow as a technical artist.

Vaiden Mallonn she/her (Assistant Costume Designer) Vaiden is a senior Middle Childhood and Special Education Major. Vaiden first appeared on the Gundlach stage in Chicago (Ensemble) and has since been involved in Wendy and Peter Pan (Assistant Stage Manager), Top Girls (Stage Manager), The SpongeBob Musical (Stage Manager), and Fiorello! (Ensemble/Cutie 3). She has absolutely loved every minute of working on this production, and would like to thank her family, friends, and everyone involved in this production for everything that they have done throughout the course of this production and through her career! Enjoy the show!!
