Meet the Cast
Riley Ameel (Clov) is currently a Junior and is so excited to be back on the Gundlach stage for her 11th production here at Heidelberg. Her favorite productions at Gundlach include Wendy and Peter(Wendy), A Year of Frog and Toad(lady bird) or Chicago(Mona/featured dancer). Riley also plays volleyball here at Heidelberg University. She would like to thank all of her family and friends for their love and support. A special thanks to Jacob for helping her run lines and always supporting her! 1 Corinthians 10:31
Amy Berger she/her (Nell) is pleased to end her extended hiatus from absurdism after her brief high school stint in The Bald Soprano (Mrs. Smith). She first yawned onstage in The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe (Lucy) and suffered a mild concussion in Sister Act (Mary Lazarus). She is grateful to Dr. Donald MacIntyre for quoting Shakespeare to her college Plate Tectonics class.
Aaron Nelson (Hamm) is the Director of Diversity Inclusion & Belonging at Heidelberg University. He is an alum of the Heidelberg class of 2010, with a degree in communication and broadcast journalism. While at Heidelberg he was a constant visitor of the theatre department as it gave him an opportunity to step outside of his comfort zone, as well as enhance his strengths of communication. He is excited to be back in this environment!
Ashtyn Wolph she/her (Nagg) is a senior music education major and acting minor. At Heidelberg, she has previously performed in Spongebob the Musical (Ensemble), Puffs, or Seven Increasingly Eventful Years at a Certain School of Magic and Magic (Hannah), Elf the Musical (Sam/Ensemble), and Fiorello! (Cutie). Along with theater, Ashtyn is also a member of the Heidelberg University Symphonic Band, Concert Choir, Chamber Singers, Composition Studio, and Saxophone Studio. She has also worked with the Ritz Theater as a member of the composition studio to create incidental music for the play Harvey which was performed last spring. She would like to thank Jackson Helmholtz for the opportunity to be in this production, as well as the rest of the cast and crew for making the show such a positive experience. This is Ashtyn's first show in the black box theater and her final show on stage at Heidelberg.
